Video & Motion — Case Study
FROST
A glassmorphism Lottie icon pack — 250 animated icons in five packs, every one a single hue beneath a single pane of frosted glass.
250 ICONS. ONE PANE OF GLASS.
Frost is a motion icon system: 250 animated icons in five packs of fifty — Interface, Weather, Sustainability, and App Status in two volumes. Every icon follows one rule: a single solid hue beneath a single pane of frosted glass, so the whole set feels cut from the same material, whatever the subject.
Each icon is built from shape layers only, on a 512 × 512 canvas at 30 frames per second, looping seamlessly in three seconds. The pack ships as Lottie JSON and dotLottie files with the After Effects project source — ready to drop into apps and websites, and to recolour in one place when a brand needs its own hue. Frost is sold on Iconscout.
